I don't post here very often but I should start. So I'll "reintroduce" myself here in the 04+ section.

I'm Liz and I have a 2008 GP in Dark Slate Metallic named "Midnight". It's loaded. Yes, it's an SE, but it's got leather, a 5-button, etc. And it's about to get go-fast parts. I'm in need of more horsepower so those mods are next. I figure it better have some horsepower to back up the mean look that is sure to follow. (Plans for looks include the SE front and rear lips and the Inferno hood... and maybe a different spoiler if I can decide what I want).

For now, I've done an input jack for an MP3 player and installed a 4th brake light which has burnt out and now needs replaced, HIDs (not retros sadly)... and also done some under-the-hood paint and gotten tint done, as well as made my own fascia grilles and bought SPOs. Tinted the tails myself then bought overlays for the reverse bar. I also have a sub for that boom boom. I'm about to do some nitpicky things to make it look new again... like replace LEDs in the radio and the dual climate control which have burnt out.

Just wanted to post up some pics of it so you can see where it was and where it is now. Don't have current pics of the engine bay but I will post some when I was in a stupid stage and had red wire loom. No worries that's all been torn out and replaced with black. LOL.

    Here we go:

On the lot before I got it (bought April of 2008)

Interior (it still looks exactly like this. I keep it clean at least I guess. LOL)

    The grilles I made:

Trunk mat I made for shows (it's not bleached out my camera just sucked):

My super old MP3 player (long replaced by my phone) with fresh install of the MP3 jack:

The old pic of the engine bay (no red loom now) and SPOs instead of rattlecan grilles:

And a few from the impromtu shoot I did yesterday because the clouds were looking awesome:
You can tell it was spur-of-the-moment because Midnight was so so dirty from driving 200 mi in the rain:

Yes, that license plate does say PWNTIAC (as in PWN).

    Thanks for browsing my thread.

The clouds really did look like that. This is an HDR photo but the way they came out of the camera is pretty much how they look here. I don't have any good pics of the tails yet. They do look good in person but since the headlights were on here, so were the tails and you can't really tell.

Thanks. I don't like the wheels either but it's gonna be HP before wheels I'm afraid. Lower grilles will go byebye when the SE lip comes. It's just to "tide it over" and made for a nice project for a day. LOL.

Whoa... I never look in the 04+ section haha... all kinds of goodies...

Throw this up in a members ride thread to, or ask to get it moved.

if its not supercharged, forget about HP, because n/a 3.8l will never make power unless you get boost.

I don't post here very often but I should start. So I'll "reintroduce" myself here. This is a cross-post from the '04 section. I hope this doesn't break any rules I wasn't sure where to put it.

I'm Liz and I have a 2008 GP in Dark Slate Metallic named "Midnight". It's loaded. Yes, it's an SE, but it's got leather, a 5-button, etc. And it's about to get go-fast parts. The clouds did look that way... this is HDR but I tweaked it so the clouds stayed the same.

It's N/A. I like the turbo idea. S/c was nixed from the start because I like being different. Sure, there are lots of other turbo'd GP's out there, but not as many as s/c'd.
