    Taking this bet.

Along with less than one month of driving before exhaust gets damaged, side skirt gets kinked, or Shelby lip gets damaged/ripped off.

I saw you typed that on Facebook as your goal. Just pointing it out how you won't do it.

and thats where I prove you wrong...

Pics do NOT do the car justice. My buddy took a rolling video of it i'll get uploaded soon. front tire is tucked. 1/4" from tire to the inside of the fender. Flush, not much camber. Rears could use maybe a 1/4" more drop, but i like how it looks with a little rake to it. So yes, I did tuck tire. Carry on.

    son of a *****.

i could agree that the rear needs another 1/4-1/2" lower, but the front on my car needs the same thing so who am i to complain.

looks good. it'll be interesting to see what you do in the spring when it comes to wheels. the stock ones on it right now are killing the stance, but who puts wheels on right before winter?

Rake will lead to more scraping up front. That's why I lowered the rear more to give me more front clearance.

Anyways, love the look. Can't wait to see it with spring wheels on. Count a *like* in that for me as well.

Not low because 4x4. Come down to Oklahoma sometime and enjoy our Okie Speed Bumps. I lost a miata in one once. Pot-hole doesn't even qualify as proper definition.

And I thought it was funny haha

Drove it 50 miles last night. No rubbing. Scrapped once on a real big dip in the road i didn't see coming, but not bad at all. only scraped a lower flap thing on the underside of the car.

Dang that thing is sllaaammmmmmmeeeddd. Why so low and not just stock ride height? I hear these cars have excellent suspension from the factory... I'm glad it works for you, personally I think the stock height looks much better.

I didn't mind the stock suspension, but hated the 4x4 look. It needed to be lowered. I love the look of a slammed s197.

    i vote this lip.
Jenny, The '99 Silvermist GTP. With the mod's that matter.
I would rather lose by a mile because I built my own car, than lose by an inch, because someone else built it for me. Your car is your story, so don't let someone else write the book.
