It has pinstripes tho
Me so jelly.
Truth lol. I don't know how many people that have been complaining about it. Bunch of haters talking trash about how can I afford a $40k+ car and all that stuff. It's called awesome credit and a good job as well as budgeting my money right.
Well duh GP > everything else..........
I always get so much crap for looking at 99-04 Mustangs. I want a nice rwd v8 car with a manual trans that doesn't cost to much money, Lt1 Fbodys are slow and most of the time overpriced, LS1 Fbodys are just overpriced unless they have an assload of miles on them, don't even get me started on what people think they should get for their Vette. That and the 4.6 just sounds amazing to me.
The dealership in Chicago is being a fukc and won't release the car to my dealership -_- so I don't know if I'll end up with it or not. Still looking. This is a pain in the ass to say the least.
Dealerships are the worst to deal with they really like to dick you around.
The dealership I'm buying from actually isn't bad, it's the dealerships the cars gotta be transfered from that are dicking us around.
Well I for sure can have my hands on a black one with track pack. But I'm trying hard to get a Sterling Gray. There is only 3 out there right now with the track pack they're able to get. Ingot Silver, Sterling, or black. I'm going for the Sterling, black second option, Ingot last.
What's the plans for this beast gonna be? And too bad you probably got the last model before they switch to IRS...
I don't want IRS...
Also not modding it that much as It will have a warranty that i'd rather not void. But after 3 years, all hell will break loose and it will get modded.
Got word today they found me a sterling gray with track pack over in Detroit. It's on it's way over :)
Excited for you! That's gonna be bad ass
Very Nice!!!
Warranty cannot be voided..
But trust me when I say that a track pack gt doesn't need to be modded. If you haven't driven one yet, you will soon find out. They run out hard. Buddy got a deep impact track pack a couple months ago. It's pretty ****ing enjoyable to drive.
You can get away with a bunch of tweaks on those and keep the warranty.
Intake/catback/plug-in programmer won't void warranty.
Seent it.
What about headers? As long as still operating with the 02 sensors and converters I would think they would be allowed.
I would just do real basic stuff, like bloo said. Still will make a difference, no voided warranty :)
I wouldn't even worry about going to deep into the mods other than exhaust. The 5.0 alone will be a beast. I'm surprised the dealers are having a hard time with it, my dealership always do these kind of dealer trades....Just keep waiting, might as well get the exact car you want if its costing this much.
