So last night I'm out driving and the CEL comes on. Now I was kind of expecting this, as being a 99 its has 2 02 sensors but driveability isn't hindered by no cat, just throws the light. I will soon get one of those simulators and not worry.

As I got to work I figured, better safe than sorry, so I checked it with the scanner. Got 2 codes back...

P0102 MAF Sensor Circuit Low Frequency - Now this was one before I changed the MAF Sensor, and I just let it stay and the light finally cleared itself... likely a history code, I hope.

P1133 H02S Insufficient Switching Sensor 1 - Not what I was expecting. I read it could be a multitude of problems.
    - Faulty Wiring (hopefully not, as I made my own extension and went wire by wire and connected it well, then wrapped them)
    - Bad 02 sensor, sensor was working fine before the header install over the weekend...
    - Bad PCM... lol doubtful but I suppose in a worst case scenario
    - Gremlins.

    Suggestions on where to start?
I figured I'd check the bolts, joints, wiring... anything else I should look for?

Still haven't gotten a sensor 2 error code, odd with no CAT I really expected it to throw one upon warm up

I always got the 1133 with my headers, then over time its like my car stopped caring and it never came back after clearing it a handful of times.

Ya I was reading up on it after I typed this, hopefully it won't be problemtatic. Car runs great and has a slightly bassier note to the exhaust, I like it... just wasn't what I expected with the code.

I plan in the spring to get a MPS with a 3.5 and a 3.4 pulley and will have it dyno tuned with them and have them take the rear 02 codes out and the switching codes with them

So small update. 5 days with no CEL and it comes on last night on the way home, P1133 again. No biggie, just cleared and keep on pushin on. Will have to get a proper tune at a later date with a smaller pulley.

Friday night was a good night. We fought rain and high winds to drive ~60 miles to the track, 3 miles away it goes clear skies and only a slight mist overy once in a while so track was open and running hard. A buddy in a ol 01 Maro finally got a hard launch, got his 1.60 60' and hit an 11.96 1/4 run. Motor is cammed with a couple bolt ons, stock t-56 6spd with a good clutch and drag slicks. Took him about 15 passes running flat 12s to finally drop to 11s but it was a good night. Out of about 8 cars in a group nobody broke anything.

I on the other hand sucked it up big time. Need a solid tune and a smaller pulley something fierce, headers and a DHP 1.0 ran a flat 15 repeatedly couldn't get the tires to stick enough to get out of a 2.1 60'. Was kinda depressing, hoped I could hit a mid 14 but I'll need some better tires to get lower and some work done. Hopefully with income tax I'll pickup a MPS 3.4/3.5, rockers or a intercooler setup, and a proper tune. Then get some DRs and see how she runs.

Wasn't the best night for me, but got out with friends and had some fun.

Best Bud on his ZX10R cranking out a decent 10.39, my phone used as a go-pro camera with his mount lol

Got the video of my buddy running a 11.96 pass. 01 Maro, Cammed LS1, T56 6Spd, crying rear end, big city slickers... pulled a 1.60 60'

Figured it was about time to update this ol' thing. Got the kinks worked out and she is back to running smooth.

I was ok for a couple weeks with the P1133 code off and on about every 4-5 days. But then something happened. I got an extra code and a nice cam lope... but no nice cam to make it do this...
    P1133 - H02S Insufficient Switching Sensor 1
    P0133 - H02S Slow Response Sensor 1

Now this would clear for about minute... then back on. Dam the luck. And she didn't run real hot. Idle was fun, kids next door thought the car was awesome loping... I just smiled

Finally got around to replacing the 02 Sensor and its been a full week since and still no CEL light and she's been smooth as butter. Slightly better MPGs too boot but that doesn't really bother me, I play with the car too much to care about MPGs, its not a Prius.

So as long as she keeps being good and doesn't break anything any more this spring she will likely get a 3.4/3.5 MPS, some new shocks and lowering springs, and I'll finally get around to putting the F-body Brakes on.

Would figure, after I brag on her she kicks me in the knee. SES clicked on last night, not sure the code. Assuming the dam P1133 again, but after a week I thought I was good. Just don't really care to check it, maybe after work. Dam GP and their constant need for something to be broken.

She gets jealous of the GF I'm sure of it. Altho half the time the GF would say I take better care of the car than I do her.

Car gets regular maintenance, sleeps in the garage (GFs truck sleeps outside like the dirty Ford dog it is), she is due for a tranny service, already have the parts in the garage just have to take the time to do it. She gets washed and cleaned top to bottom, inside and out... tho she could use another cleaning. Maybe this weekend we will spend some time together.

Tho the light will likely stay on, needy *****.

Thanks man, she is in need of alot of mods but she is a good girl.

Plans for this year is 3.4/3.5 MPS, proper tune, new front end parts, lower, new struts, alignment, then w/e.

*Fingers crossed* I can do this.

    So I decided, I can't do this...

... at least not with income tax monies. Gonna be a slow progression, but I'll get there.

That being said, money was still spent. About $1,500 to the car loan, leaves about $600 which will be paid off completely in just a couple months. I was going to be left with about $500-600 to play with, couldn't decide between some new computer upgrades, or maybe a couple go-fast parts, I need a 3.4 pulley and a drop, maybe a mix...

    No.

GF goes... Baaaaaabbbyyy. Spring is on the way, and I want to redo the flower bed and get rid of those ugly bushes and make it nice.

Dam... now I like getting laid, and nothing stops that faster than "My car is more important than you", so guess what I got to do over the weekend.

Now I know they aren't completely level, I give no cares. It got dark right as I finished, looked level in the light, close enough. That single bush will be transposed to the other side, more soil added, red mulch put down to protect it, and later part of march we get to add stuff. Still got some work to do, will update once finished, but I got tired and the weekend ended.

I forgot how intense manual labor is on the body, my comfy stool at work behind the desk keeps me not-so-inshape. Need to get more active. ugh...

But the GF is happy, its coming along and that makes me happy. Car gets mods later on.

A little was still spent on the car tho, a trip to Best buy after shopping around and $300 later I have a Pioneer DEH-X8500BH reciever to install, and all the brackets, harness, etc... to do it with.

Looks like this ^^^ but went all Amber colored so it matched the rest of the factory dash. Lame but one day I may change it all when LEDs start burning out.

I needed a new radio, had fixed mine a couple times, CD player stopped working, bypassed to front AUX input for phone use. Prior to that the EQ would randomly reset itself regardless of where the knobs were, so I'd have to drop them all down and level back out, then recently it started losing the whole right channel front and back. Got ridiculous so I thought I need to just buy a new deck, wanted to get a woofer/amp installed sometime anyways, so that's first step.

So after a long weekend of back and forth trips to Lowes, some more money down the drain, a awesome allergy attack (found this out after eyes started swelling up, still swollen right eye )... we are finished with the front.

So front is all done, GF is all happy, and at the end of the day...

    I GOT SOME BOOTY!!!
