Lol I'm in the same boat. I'll have to end up going 300+ miles to get one. Just need to find the right one.
it'll be worth it though man
Rims look really good on there.
nice car
what trans do you have? did you build a stock one or order one from triple edge performance, zzp, or some where like that
curious because im probably gonna need a built trans once i go intercooled
My tranny is a built one from Tim king who is in Ohio. I had him ship me one and there was no core charge. The build included hardened parts with upgraded clutches, shift kit, 300m input shaft, 7/8ths chain and I stayed with 2.93 gears. Tim can be reached at bad3800v6@aol.com. The cost was $2,050(had a special at that time) shipped to my shop of choice for install. I've been very pleased.
Snapped a quick pic of the GTP at PSN:

Got tired of the exhaust leak on my car so I went back to the stock front manifold for the time being. In the process I noticed that the number 3 cylinder had an A/C Delco plug. I vaguely remember snapping the #6 plug during the turbo install. Parts store was closed and I'm pretty sure that I swapped out the front one and was going to deal with it later. Had electrical issues with the car, towed it to a shop and completely forgot about it. As it was there for a week or two. Here I am over a year later and nearly **** a brick when I saw it since all the others are 103's. Buttoned it up, took a drive, no manifold exhaust leak, and feels good. Can't believe I didn't cause damage to that cylinder the past year with all the WOT passes I've done.
Wife really loves my wheels and I've been looking to change my car up a bit so I took her 08 base wheels:

Won two free dyno pulls at a local performance shop. Giving them a call tomorrow to set up a dyno session.
So the wife is rolling on the 18"s? Nice! Post some pics of her car.
Was that at the last DGE meet Sunday?
Yea I took those at the meet this past Sunday. Where were you at? I was in a sea of Cobalts with no 3800 people around. Didn't think I would survive. Did you get the trans installed yet?
Pics of the wife's ride on 18's.

This ride is what I hope mine will soon be :D
paint your wheels white and you'll be like me lol
Thoughts on what you'll make now?
What's different than the previous session and what did you make then?
I'm digging the '04+ wheels...man if only they were Comp G wheels...then it'd be complete.
Don't know what your car needs...maybe some clear corners would clean it up a lot...I never cared for that egg yolk mess from the factory.
Agreed Comp G wheels would look sick on 97-03. Car needs some clear corners for sure and a repaint on the front end. Would be nice to have a different spoiler and some inlays for the rear valence. I may hack off the front valence, but unsure how much that will affect the stability of the front cover.
Previous dyno data:
N/A L67- 142HP/171TQ-M90 block off, open cone intake, 2.5" dp, Intense Racing OG PCM, 18" wheels
TGP- 266hp/293tq- 10 PSI, intercooled CT kit PT 61, M90 block off, 2.5" exhaust, 42lb injectors, CT PCM, L67 MAF, 42lb injectors, 18" wheels
TGP- 286hp/418tq- 11 PSI, Intercooled, CT kit PT 61, M90 block off, plog, 2.5" exhaust, LT1 MAF, ZZP PCM, 42lb injectors, 18" wheels
TGP- 346hp/575tq- 12 PSI, Intercooled, CT kit PT 61, M90 block off, plog, 2.5" exhaust, cutout, LT1 MAF, ZZP PCM, 42lb injectors, 1.9 rockers, 16" wheels
The main difference from the previous pull is that I have now done a L36 top swap with ported L26 LIM, added a HVIII insert, went back to a cast iron front manifold, and now all 6 plugs are AL103's. Debating how much if any boost I want to increase.
Holy crapo TQ #s injectors and E85 then crank it up? stock cam? or am I missing something?
torque converter, makes the lower half of any dyno graph pretty inaccurate.
either way kick ass and good to see someone not all ohhhh fvck it errrrry thing must have a cam!!!!!
