yea, i wish it was... my brother had a '98 GP GTP, so thats what got the family into them... my mom bought the one pictured above straight off the showroom floor with 3 miles on it.. 125,xxx miles later, shes mine... and still as clean as it was off the showroom floor... it helps that my dad works at a Chevy Dealership, so all service/maintenance has been taken care of throughout the life of the GP... such a smmmooooooth car... i love it... great on gas mileage too lol... wayyyyy better then my SS...

Race you in your TBSS for pink slips.

Very nice rides you got there though, been waiting for the word back on the TBSS after the whole spun bearing on cyl 6 way back.

ohhh it was a looooong battle/story... and to make it short.. i almost got rid of it... she's still not 1000% and is going back in september/october for a full tear down of the new motor... (has a knock in it as well).. it took over 2 months to get the new motor.. so i get her back in the middle of May... a week later, new motor started leaking oil... so back she went, and turns out it was my oil pan and needed a new gasket... then middle of June, tranny started acting goofy on me.. was slammin gears so hard, i was chirppin tires, and the TC would lock immediately, and i couldnt go above 2,000 RPM... then since day one of getting her bacl.. the motor has this "knock" thats a little louder then valvetrain noise, but a little quiter then piston slap.. and it doesnt go away... so again, when i go to store her for the winter, she will be at the dealership this whole winter for another tear down...needless to say, this whole fiascle has just totally made me lose confidence in my SS... buuuut.. i do have a new motor and trans now... sooo.. i could look at it as they are all under warranty for another 3 years or 50k miles... (at the rate i drive her, the year will expire over mileage).. but when the tranny goes again, im just going to put a built one in her and call it a day...

and i cant race for anything lol... motor only has 1500 miles on it, and i cant put any of my go fast goodies on her.. hence the sig... SUCKS BEING STOCK lol... its driving me nuts...
