So this thread is getting revived a while after it was made LOL that is because I am finally able to start slowly modding it. When I first got it and joined the site I had plans for mods but between money issues, car issues and then being laid up due to a knee injury a lot got put on hold in the ways of modding. From the car getting a rebuild engine, all new cy boots, front axles, hubs, bearings tie rods, the like, new power steering pump, MAF sensor, O2 sensor, tires, thermostat, and a new regulator and motor for the rear passenger window, well a lot of money went into that stuff instead.

I'm finally getting the time to get around to doing mods to the car slowly but surely. Nothing real major yet but I am happy because I finally got it de-badged, exhaust tips sanded and made a grill badge with one of the GT badges that I took off. Next on the list is going to be headlights when I find a pair I like since my original ones just suck at night and making an intake. After that will be struts, thinking of lowering it,roof rails, rims, painting some stuff under the hood and some other things. Oh and a new AC Compressor because I am just honestly waiting for the one in it to blow up

Thanks! Yeah headlights and A/C Compressor are on top of the to-do list because they are both bad. The intake will just be thrown in the mix since that's easy.

I'm thinking smoked projectors with black housing but i'm not 100% sure on what to go with. Because driving at night with terrible light just sucks lol.

Now... to also think of a name for my car I think LOL and a color theme, i still have yet to think of one. Been debating green/silver.

Nice clean GT, I like the color matched GT badge on the grill, I have the Gold letters to finally correct mine (had red). Go low, glad I did. As for headlights, until I get new ones, I used the 3M kit and it made a big difference.

Thanks Texas. That's awesome you got gold to finally match. I definitely plan on going low. I tried a kit, I don't think it was 3M though and it didn't do much of anything, I may go get the 3M kit and see if that will make a bigger diference till I get new.

Just move out of Cali then by inlays

Thats usually how it works you want something then something more important comes up that requires you spending your money.

Good things inlays aren't going anywhere just get them at a later date.

Seriously California and their laws LOL. Yeah Ill be able to get them soon, the major stuff I want is waiting on tax returns. Then Ill have more updates then now because I plan on getting a few things the car needs.

I swear though, this car just... senses when I want to get something "fun/not a real need" for it and then its like.. LOL no... and something happens. When I was getting ready to get new headlights that's when the trans went out. GP's, they just know..

Yeah, well at least I can try to figure out which blue is more like teal on reflective concepts for my inlays.

    Your doing it wrong. lol.

Its a GP, stuff breaks and needs replacing.

The trick is to replace with something better than stock.

You try to just add something for fun and it will attempt to leave you stranded.

lol, every time something breaks I buy better ( the best I can afford anyway) but because of it's age, its all the orig. stuff that's going out which is a go figure. It should be good for the most part after the AC compressor is replaced and the struts which I plan to lower the car when I replace them.
