I recently sold my beloved '98 Z28 because I needed money, and I needed a car I could drive year round. I used to have a '97 GTP a few years ago, and despite the fact that I hate automatic transmissions and front wheel drive, I loved the car. So after I sold the Camaro I went looking online to find a GTP or Regal GS. I looked in the classifieds on ClubGP and came across a very familiar car for sale. It was a super clean '98, fully loaded, and only a few hours away. I'm sure many of you have seen pics of it before. These were taken by the previous owner...

It has a fenderwell intake, ceramic coated PEMS, 3" downpipe, MPS (stock pulley installed), ZZP PCM, GMPP handling kit, and a few exterior mods (hood, spoiler, wheels, projectors, etc).

I removed the GTP decal from the windshield, removed the Supercharged decal from the rear, and replaced the rear inlay with a new silver one. The old one was starting to peel off, and it looked more white than silver. I also removed the lower grilles. I think it looks a lot better without them. I have considered putting some stock grilles back in the top, or possibly GPO grilles, but I'll probably just leave it how it is.

There are a couple minor issues with the car, but overall it is in very nice shape inside and out and it drives awesome. I replaced the blown factory door speakers with some Rockford Fosgates, repainted the brake calipers and a couple things in the engine bay, and I will be replacing a wheel bearing and the AC compressor soon. The HUD has a random dimming issue that needs addressed, and I still need to figure out why the fog lights only work once in a blue moon.

As far as mods go, I'm basically going to keep the car how it is. I'm trying to finish school and save money for a house, and eventually get a C5 or a GTO. In the meantime I just want a clean daily driver that I won't dump a bunch of money into, so this car is basically perfect how it is. I would really like to lower it, but I don't really feel like spending the money. Although I'm sure I will get the windows tinted at some point.

Here are a few pics I took last week...

Here are a couple pics I took earlier today after cleaning it up...

These pics were taken with my cell phone so the quality isn't great, but I'll try and get better ones soon.

I like the wheels that are currently on the car, but I might consider getting something else. I really liked the '06 Special Edition wheels that I had on my old '97...

Thats all I got for now. Let me know what you think!

The blue accents and projectors aren't my cup of tea, but otherwise it looks good.

The blue seems to be a love it or hate it thing. Personally I think it looks great on the silver, but a lot of people don't care for it. As far as the projectors, I agree. I don't think they look bad, but I definitely prefer the look of factory headlights. That being said, the light output of the projectors is awesome, so they are staying put

The engine bay is a little dirty, and yes I'm aware that the intake is hanging off in this picture lol...
