    Update!

Tranny died a month ago today. Not sure what failed in it to this day. I'm wondering if it was the pressure control solenoid.
Since it's winter and I'm driving the beater I'm going to rebuild most of the car. I was looking at GTOs and Cobalts but I can't see myself not in this car. My goal is to get more mods and to replace almost every moving part on this car and cut out the rust on the rocker making it a virtually zero mile car. Heck maybe I'll claim "unknown mileage" and reset the odometer to "000000.0"Wont get too many parts till after the holidays are done with but I just scored TOGS with DP for 280
Here are pics of the tear down progress and clean up of the oily mess.
Also in the pic with my forth gear shaft, can anyone identify the piece next to it? Should the "teeth" look like that?

Pics of how it's sitting now. On 4 junk tires so I dont ruin my brand spanking new eagle f1s

Either go all the way around or don't paint the trim at all. It'd look good if it was painted all the way around.

If the tails were polished and the front and rear fascias matched the side skirts...maybe.

The tails are polished. I cant get them any better than that for some reason. If I messed them up it's a good thing I used bad tails. They were both full of water.

And yes I will be going all the way around with the silver.

Anywho...its called wetsanding...look into it. If you didn't polish them that way...then there was something wrong with the paint.

I like it, silver helped quite a bit in my book, rims are a must now. The tails not so sure but I can't see them in person so I won't judge those

I felt the need of an update.

As of May 21st, I did my tranny swap and I have reverse. Before I post those pics here are some other things I've been up to while I was waiting on my friend to say he could help me.

First I tinted the already leaking taillights to hide the water. Decided to try something a little strange....

Then I got some Special Edition wheels for a steal. 100 for all 4.
    Also Painted the sides Silver.

Closed up the crack in my bumper till I can find one in my rare blue :-/

Couple weekends went by. Finally had time to finish the Silver.

    AEM Dryflow

    Finally got my LED tails.

    Thursday, the 19th
    An all too familiar sight.

With 169k I didnt expect to have it's first tranny in it still. But this confirmed it for me.

    Tranny I bought going in.

I dont have any pics since I've put it back on the ground. I washed and waxed it yesterday but With all the crap falling off of the trees it looks like crap again. Have to say I wouldn't have been brave enough to do this if I hadn't done it 4 times on the old SHO.
