lookey there ^^^ lol...
also, a correction on the light sizes im getting...9006 not 9005 lol
updated, bump...opinions???
actually a useful bump, updated again...took off the seatbelt guides on the head rests, they were a ****ing ***** ! ahhh...hurted my hand
also, i more or less "disabled" DRLs...i haz no idea what happened...well i do, but ill get made fun of, but w/e
ok, so i was yankin on the green and black wire (DRLs confirmed wire) and then all of the sudden it kinda ripped outta the little black plug thing...so it is technically disconected (no service light ftw way to do it, tricky tricky) but idfk what it did...my lights still automatically came on when i turned it on to test...
i pulled the knob and went into stealth parking light mode, but shouldnt there be a point where there are no lights on? like, when you have HIDs do you have to manually turn your lights on? or do they still come on but you can turn them off if you want? because if thats the case, idfk how to turn them off lol...
if no one knows, i suppose its parking lights for me, or i can haz 8000k HIDs in everyones face 24/7
ok, so call me a post whore idc lol...no one else will post!!! i need opinions people
i looked into the custom clear corners thing...turns out there is 100% no way to get to the actual lens to possibly shave that amber lining off...or whatever wouldve worked...
so yeah, idk of any way to get the weather lining off, and pretty sure im not gonna try hahaha
you could of just pulled the DRL fuse
which is where? lol...
the method i did, yanking it out, or cutting the wire, was the only way i could find for montes...and i searched over 3 forums dedicated to montes...
in the fuse box.
the cover says DRL fuse, 10amp
hmmm...i suppose i can go try it...ill go check passenger and drivers side...ill report back lol
should be on the pasenger side, i want to say 3rd row from left?
nope and nope...
i was talking about inside the cabin on the sides of the dash
it isnt on the inside anywhere
if your talking about inside the engine bay, obviously i know where that is considering i pulled the wire out
all i was saying, i pulled the wire, nothing happened as far as i know other than the service engine soon in the message center
just got a lead by sean that vvme HIDs are better than DDMs...so i looked into it, they are definitely cheaper...and he said they work just as good or better
only question i have, do you just pop the relay harness right into the battery? will my battery have enough space to hook 4 of these harnesses in? (im doing fogs and low beams)
heres da links to what im looking at
Relay Harness 880/881/893 HID Conversion Kit Wholesale Xenon HID Bulbs-50/55W Hi/Low (One Beam in HID) Bulbs [VVME-HKS88-WRH] - $53.98 : VVME.COM, Car Parts, HID KIT, Tattoo Kit, Ballast, Bulbs
Relay Harness 9006(HB4) HID Conversion Kit Wholesale Xenon HID Bulbs-50/55W Hi/Low (One Beam in HID) Bulbs [VVME-HKS96-WRH] - $53.98 : VVME.COM, Car Parts, HID KIT, Tattoo Kit, Ballast, Bulbs
You can always set up a terminal block for your power leads so you don't clutter the battery. Just a thought. Btw the DDM Raptor kit (what I have) is $50 with the harness (anyone that doesn't get a harness is dumb), making it cheaper than VVME by a few bucks. Why does everyone think DDM is so expensive when it's not?
Never said DDM was expensive. They have crap quality shipping and the HID's I have from them suck.
duplicate post...ignore, something went wrong when i posted lol
DDM shipping is slower (from what ive heard) also, i heard their customer service blows recently...
only thing im not sure of about VVME is the color im getting...i mean, DDMs 8000k looked so blue, i liked them...VVMEs 8000ks look white...their 12000k are the closest to DDMs 8000ks i can find
id like to get a blue light...so any info on what would be the most blue from VVME, thanks
EDIT: just did some research, i think their diagrams on their website is for their 55w kits...im getting 35ws...so maybe ill go with the 35w 8000k because they will be the same right?
Man...your a post whore.
For reference...8K at company A is still 8K at company B.
Anything past 8K is useless.
12K you wouldn't be able to see sh1t.
a post whore i may be, but im just trying to find out information...
i know that 35w 12k's are going to be pretty useless...idc honestly lol...i can probably either stand it, or use my halogen high beams...i may even get high beam HIDs...idk though
might probably just stay with halogen high beams, and get bright as possible ones
