So pulling the manifold blows. Worst thing I've ever done on a car, hands down. It was so bad that I don't want to deal with it ever again unless the motor comes out, so I bought a bunch more parts to just get it all done with while the car is down.

I have 850cc injectors (About 80lb for domestic guys) a 255lph pump, TGV spacers, silicone turbo inlet and afta-maf tube and some other junk on top of the stuff I already have on the way. In my typical fashion, blew my budget thrice over.

Waiting on parts and it goes back together, Wicked Big Meet is fast approaching.

For reference, here's what the engine bay looks like when it's not missing the top end:

    **** yo 1200's!

haha nah it's cool. Schreiner said we'd have to raise the idle a lot to have it run smooth with 1200's which wouldn't have stopped me but I got an awesome deal on these haha.

I got two within 20 minutes north or west. The one in Barberton is actually priced good though at 3.20 a gallon. The one in wooster runs around 3.59 a gallon. Sooo **** that haha

The whole reason I pulled the manifold is to install my tgv deletes I mentioned on the previous page! The rest is stuff I'm doing along with the tgv deletes.

    I'm mad tyte JDM, guize!

No but seriously. Picked up JDM STi seats and they are sooooo much better than USDM seats. Much more narrow, bolstering actually exists and is functional, more comfortable, etc. Also grabbed a JDM titanium front strut bar to replace my junk ebay one. Fitment is perfect and it looks nicer, plus it says STi on it so that's like 20 HP.

Maybe I'll post pictures some day of all the cool things I've been doing.

Oh BTW car is tuned and whatnot. Runs strong like bull, stops even better. I'm loving it.

So here's a mostly comprehensive list of what all went down. Keep in mind this all started because I was going to change my brake pads because mine were squeaking.

    Brakes:
Hawk HPS pads front and rear
DBA 5000 2 piece front rotors and DBA 4000 rear rotors
Flushed out the old ATE Superblue with fresh ATE TYP-200 amber fluid
Installed a TurnInConcepts master cylinder brace
Installed speed bleeders (7 anyhow, one bleeder was helicoiled to a different thread)
Refinished the calipers with G2 caliper paint - Ultrasonic Blue Mica

    Motor - fueling/dressup/etc:
TGV deletes (color-matched to the calipers)
Painted intake manifold (color-matched as well, along with the "STi" on the intercooler and the horns behind the grille)
Gimmick motorsports silicon turbo inlet and afta-maf tube
    DW 850cc injectors
DW200 fuel pump (255lph drop in replacement)
    Grimmspeed electronic boost control solenoid
    Grimmspeed air/oil separator
    Grimmspeed phenolic 3mm TGV spacers
Kill Mode Tuning Protune, 20PSI of das boost

    Wheels:
17x8.5 RPF1's with my continentals switched over. So light.

    Interior:
Defi 60mm BF-Link gauges and controller (first part of my JDM swag), hard to find Imperial measurements (PSI/degrees F)
    -Boost/in/Hg
    -Oil Pressure
    -EGT
JDM STi Version 8 (MY04/05) seats. So much nicer than crap USDM seats with no support, not bolstering, and terrible/unadjustable lumbar. I also swapped the rails from the totaled saabaru over so both the driver and passenger side seats are have height adjustment.

I picked up a JDM STi Spec-C Fuji Heavy Industries titanium strut tower brace to replace my junk ebay one when I picked up my seats as well.

Also finally got around to installing the Xpel clearbra.

There's probably other stuff I'm forgetting but that's it for now. I'll post a few overall pictures soon, I still have to get some decent ones. I'm happy with the car, for the moment anyhow. Wouldn't mind having more power, but aside from meth injection (which is in the works) there's not much more I can do to make power and stay reliable on stock internals.

    Test fitting the 5000 series:

    Getting ready for paint:

    Calipers stripped and prepped:

    And on goes the paint:

    Finished product:

Manifold and other stuff matched to the calipers:

I don't have a lot of pictures from the motor portion because I was in a rush to get the car back together in time for wicked big meet, which was awesome:

    USDM(left) vs JDM(right) seats:

    JDM seats installed:

Spec C strut bar (don't mind the messy paint on the IC, I did it by hand and have cleaned it up since):

Blew a vacuum line off of the intake manifold while tuning, tires broke loose in 3rd gear and it was making 27PSI! Got that under control to a steady 20!:

I'm such a scenester now with my angled stickers on my back window:

And the only picture I have of the whole car isn't very good but it'll have to do for now until I can get real pictures with my real camera:
