that beast needs a bigger TMIC. front mounts are too much advertisement.

In due time, sir. Tires next, then sway bars/coilovers or a nice spring/strut combo/bushing/endlinks/lateral arms maybe/whatever else will make the car handle better, then moar powa.
look into DGR for coilovers. they'll set you back somewhere around $1400, but they are built to order and you can get whatever spring rates you want. the best part about them is a LIFETIME warranty so long as you own that car.
uhh..no?
they are nationwide, but ive been talking with a few of the sole distributors and the owner, russ. they seem to be legit from what i can tell and what i've read. i will most likely go with a set when i replace mine next spring.
Pretty big update for today....I've been looking for new tires because the RE-11's I've been running have seen better days. It was killing me to know I had to get rid of them because they still have some track life left in them, but their usefulness on the street is long gone. The STi is technically the DD and it does see rain, which RE-11's suck in when they're new, let along to the first set of wear indicators. Anyhow, I was searching CL to see if I could find any local deals on tires before ordered them online and came across a listing for a set of Enkei GTC01 wheels with Yokohama S Drive tires and only about 5000 miles on the set. The price was right so I met up the guy selling them and picked them up last night. I wasn't really in the market for wheels but I couldn't argue with the price and I really like how they look on the car. Now for less text, moar pics:

I wish I had cool brakes to take pics of![]()
gotta get those baers! Haha the caliper shots are for the guys on the STi forums to show the clearance. Some +48 offset wheels fit and some don't. These ones do, obviously
Thanks everyone! I really wasn't expecting to upgrade wheels anytime soon but I couldn't pass these up. After cost, shipping, and mounting/balancing I would have had ~$730 into just new tires. I got these for $800, the tires were $600 last summer and the wheels were like $360 each, so basically I got a 5000 mile used $2K tire/wheel combo for less than half that. I couldn't say no.
Those wheels are perfect, nice pick up
Enkei = Win
I've covered this before, lol. I work my ass off. I work 2 jobs for a total of 50-60 hrs per week and recently I've been working with my girlfriend's dad as well on days where I only work one job or on the rare day off from both jobs I get. He owns a removal service company and although the work is hard and usually dirty/heavy lifting/all around sucky it pays well. A normal day of work for me starts at 7:30 am and ends at 9 pm, basically every day. When school starts back up I'll have to cut my hours some but I just cram all my classes into 2 days so I can work the other 5, I did that all last year and it worked out really well.
I work to hard to be ballin' on a budget.
Holy moly those look good.
