Started out as a 02 GP GT with 23K on it as a lease return. She has every option but the digital climate and supercharger like the GTP counterpart. Shes and 02 so its the last year of the coupe...maybe its worth something?

    N/A mods were :
    ZZP ER Rockers
    ZZP HV3
    ZZP stage 2 throttle body
Custom air intake with zzp hose and a 9inch K&N
ZZP Powerlog and 2.5 inch catless downpipe and a dynomax catback
    DHP pcm

All my go fast N/A mods forced my trans to explode the diff. i swapped it out in front of my ex's house and added the HD upgrade from morad, my first major surgery on the 3800

i added some Helo wheels for the cool factor, i found em on craigslist for $100

i got my title at work and a retro check so i decided to up the ante and go supercharged...i got a deal on some SSM90 rails and manifold for $200 and just pieced together the kit as time went on
    Supercharged mods were:
    L36 bottom end
    ZZP SSM90 kit -3.4 pulley
    42.5 lb injectors
    Northstar throttle body
    Powerlog and 2.5 inch downpipe

i added some 18's and the original projectors from clubgp and a week later i met the back of a ford ranger

the aftermath lead to the way you see her sit now, ebay blackedout headlights, slp gen 1 tail and lowered on the gmpp koni kit also the roof rails i scored for $100 from morad

christmas 08 the grinch brought me a chipped piston...santa followed through with a l32 from morad rebuilt by tune time
i picked up a brand new never used set of togs from a guy in dc on a random google search, i ditched the short stack intercooler for an aem meth kit, i also sold off the ER rockers for a set of 1.8 yella terras. the ER rockers are still living on, warbeaver bought them used em and sold em.

supercharged she went consistent 13.0-13.2 on the meth, made 260 whp and 300 wtq on tune time mustang dyno

the thirst for more power and right timing brought me to a used z7 kit and a kid looking for a ssm90 kit...i managed to strip off the tog's take apart the top of the engine and install the turbo and ship everything out in a matter of a 4 day weekend from work
    the turbo mods are:
ZZP front and rear power logs
    ZZP hv3
ZZP Z7 kit with 62-1 turbonetics turbo 38mm tial wastegate and 50 mm bov

so here we are, tuned and on meth she mad 305 whp and 355 wtq first time at the track was a 13.0 @ 104, then 12.8 @ 105, and finally 12.7 @105, just for kicks i launched at 3 psi of boost, smoked out the tires to the 330' mark got off it and hit it again to click off a 14.60 @ 105 im in the works of getting a better turbo and installing the bigger injectors. i know she has 11's in her but i need a beater and some more cash...hope you enjoyed the story gpers!

wow, that's some serious wrench time. the 18's were sexy. did you ever think about lowering or are you just concentrating on the motor? and in the second pic, are those torque stars on the front with just really low profile tires?

With the 3.25,1.8 yella terras,n* tb,togs,3in zzp catless tog down pipe,42.5 injectors, aem meth kit. Made 260whp and 300wtq with the tune by tune time.

Paint on the blower is rustoleum BBQ paint...$4 a can baby!!!

These transmissions suck but I think I had a weak link from the factory seeing as how it blew up with less than 30k on it. I now have a TEP trans since the L32 build.

I did turbo back in September, a kid on here was looking for an sskit. Right place at the right time I guess. The turbo is by far the best mod to date.

The car was always lowered. Used to be ssc springs on gr2s which rode like crap here in NYC. I switched to the original GMPP/Koni strut and spring package. Those rims are torque stars with a road race tire I used as a radial. I've since painted them black and added the Hoosier QTPs

The 18s are fittipaldi force. I wish I never sold them.

My car always made more power than the cammed guys on clubgp so I always did rockers. Plus there's no reliable timing set so I'm not gonna chance breaking something.

Vic I have a sweet iat setup you'd be interested in, especially running that inline maf

i bought the car in 05, topswaps weren't cheap like they are now. the cartuning turbo kit was just released, zzp was working on their turbo kits so you were looking at about 5grand for the turbo and intercooler. plus a built trans was about 5 grand from either dynotech or zzp, hell modbug trans were still around too! lol so i modded as i had cash, and found deals in the clubgp classifieds.

N/A i had the car making 200whp and 220wtq, back then guys were all over the AFC 2.2 and the powertuner, so i tried tuning myself and thought my car was fast. my boy was at tune time with his brand new TBSS and we put my car on the dyno, i made a whopping 99whp and 15.1 AFR because i was going by how clubgp tunes "long trim"...Matt tuned the car and it made 200whp in about 10 minuets and 1 dyno pull. best N/A time was 14.9 @ 93mph, after the ssm90 kit i went to the track and went 13.0 @ 104 so not a bad considering i spent less than a grand for the kit and picked up 2 tenths off my ET and 10 mph.

the best mod now without a doubt is the turbo, but it depends what you want from your GP, daily driving i miss the instant power from the blower. driving in traffic can suck if you don't build up the boost and need to get in front of someone to pass. but, crusing at 60 and punching it, watching the HUD go to 120 in about 2 seconds is priceless!! in a couple of weeks im going to be switching to a different turbo and making all new oil feed and return lines so hopefully i can give you guys a baseline on building your own turbo kits. id like to be cheaper than zzp

    thanks for the comments guys!!

for the m90 kit you pull off the stock l36 intakes, change to the gtp coil bracket. if you choose to use the ss pulleys you need to install the pulley zzp gives you. i upgraded to 42.5 lb injectors. you need zzps fuel logs specifically for the m90 kit. you also need a pcm tuned for the blower

Went to a meet this past weekend and this is how she sits now

I picked up a Sierra as a dd

The tan got boring so i dipped it, i added the denali wheels, indash dvd, posi rear, intake and a 93 octane tune courtesy of Tune Time

i also picked up a suzuki LTZ 400

Truck is badass as a dd but the mileage sucks!!!! According to the feds and TTP, the sierra/silverado only get 13city/16hiway. mine is a 2000 so im sure the new ones with the dod and 6L80 get way better. Next truck is def gonna be a 2500 though
