i know but it would be almost twice as much as Aamco (which has done great work for my family (3 transmission rebuilds in different cars)

and the short warranty (6mo) and fact shipping would be outrageous

I feel really good about my $700 trans. I wouldn't pay 1700+ ever. If there's a guy (Dave) that knows these transmissions better than anybody else, to me that's better than any warranty.

What all are you planning on doing to the tranny?

plus i forgot to mention the Aamco that my family uses has the Fleet account with the Local cops that use the same transmission my car does.
