Picking up parts. Torque convertor bolts and transmission lines.
|
Parts ive picked up since everything is together.
Netural Safety Switch
Engine Temp Sensor
Transmission Lines
Torque Convertor bolts
Tonights Progress.
Found out the company that sold me my rotors sent me the wrong sized rotors.
Found out ZZP sent me the wrong stainless steel lines.
also got the cam sensor magnet on the new timing chain.
You don't need brakes just make it go fast worry about stopping later![]()
where are the pictures?
Was that crank timing gear machined to accept the US crank chamfer instead of the Aussie chamfer? (don't want to break a chain)
On the neutral safety switch, you aligned the dot on the center ring with the line in neutral? (way easier to do out of the car)
Got ahold of the brake rotor company he sent me 11" rotors instead of the 12.7 fronts i need and the 12" rears i need..
SMH.
In other news... The engine and transmission is BACK IN
Did u get the crank gear machined to match stock?
Yes i did. Godwin Singer did all my machine work for the block.
Godwin Singer Machince Shop
I was just wondering how other people have done it, i did that same thing. Good work like watching progress!!!
Its for front PCV with a current gen ZZP intercooler core.
No need for trans line fittings. Run a external cooler.
I got the fitting at Advanced auto parts had to drive but they had 2 in stock at $8 each.
also gotta FIND my Trans Dipstick or purchase a new one. and locate all my top end bolts
today bolting on the starter, power steering, A/C and the remainder of the accessories
Things i could use a hand with
1. A Photo guide of the Intercooler & FMHE install or video
2. How my Accessory belt works with the electric water pump/where to spice said pump into (or different size belt i need to order)
3. What gasket set is better then the garloc gaskets ZZP sent with my intercooler
4. Intercooler Piping (clear tubes) i heard there is better ones to use?
