My vote trim the sides maintain the front and also just a side note cut the stock bumper where the lower grill area is so it blends into lower lip you have seamlessly.

Yup.
That's all the HDR lip guys do...it's pretty much the same thing.
i like it.
i like it a lot.
me wonders if it would be functional at all?
hmmmm
Why didn't you just buy a piece of 1/4" ABS and trim it for the Grand Prix? Would've been a lot cheaper, though I'm sure spencer at WCS is happy you didn't.
If it is it's marginal at best. It's advertised as purely cosmetic.
1. I'm lazy
2. I'm only home for a week every 5-6 weeks with work so I value my time at home nowadays.
Besides they did a good job of cutting it out, probably done on a waterjet so it looks much better than anything I would ever be able to do.
Fair enough.
I like it, it looks titties!!!!
I still have some massaging to the position of it. The holes are slotted about an inch so I can move it in and out if I please. What I really need to do though is work on the spacing off of the valance. It still kind of points up, I didn't realize the actual shape of the bottom of the bumper, it's not nearly as flat as I thought.
Also if anyone else does this I kept the ends I cut off. Free template.
Spencer sells pucks to go on it to space out the front to make it level with the ground. You can add washers and some angled plastic to hide them as well.
I thought about getting the leveling kit but decided to wing it. I've got washers stacked but when I get back I'm going to do something else, probably just what he sells. Also right now the bolt are just threaded through the plastic, not nuts. I didn't realize there are stiffeners in the bumper and of course the bolts are right next to them so no nuts unless I trim the inside of the bumper or come up with something else, maybe something like a drywall anchor.
If you are pulling the bumper off to put the splitter on then put the bolt through the top and a nut underneath. I've been considering making a molded splitter for this car like I do for GTOs and G8s. Not sure if I could make one that looked right and I haven't seen any yet.
