you have no idea the temptation there is to pull that pin. especially because it rattles when i drive. i'll probably just put it on for when i go to shows.
so i got the stock top hats on the suspension last night. because of the design on the rear i had to take out the linear springs and put back in the progressive springs they come with. not necessarily a bad thing, just not exactly what i wanted to to. it rides a bit nicer now. still about as stiff, but not as jarring and definitely a bunch quieter. since it was straight pouring out today i didnt get a chance to take it around any hard corners, but we'll see about later on tonight.
the car is definitely lower in the front and in the rear i could probably go lower yet, but i'll decide upon that later tonight as well. i plan to put the 18s on later and even out the ride height around the car so it sits how i want it. if i rub at all while im driving around (the 18s are 1.5" wider and ~20mm less offset than the stock 17s) then i'll have to bump the camber in a little bit. i just need to make sure this is all good to go before the alignment i have scheduled tomorrow morning.
and nick, for a height reference i did a quick once over last night. from center of the hub to the fender right now in the front i'm ~12.5", which is probably a good inch lower than i was with the camber plates on. didn't adjust the ride height at all. im ~13.0" in the rear, but that'll probably just get evened out side to side and stay that height. i like the car to have a little bit of rake visually, even though the fender are shaped differently.
