You're going to love those coils. My RCE Tarmac 0's are re-valved KW variant 1's. The overall ride quality is better than stock. It's harsh on bumps at low speed but much smoother on the highway.

Which one would you recommend? Most other ones are gonna be body kit style lips.

coilovers go on in the spring.

new wheels and tires get ordered for next seasons look. those wheels may actually stick around for a while because they are something i 'want', not like at the time for the deal i'm getting.

so i am going to give away a secret, but i really want more opinions before i take the dive.

    my choices:

    (1) rota torque - 18x9.5 +35mm
    (2) rotiform nue - 18x8.5 +35mm

the rotas are going to be about $400 cheaper for the wheels and will look a little more aggressive. i will also have to run a more aggressive alignment to fit these nicely. i also won't have such a hard time powder coating them another color after i run through a set of tires since they are cheaper and much more common. these come in either hyper black or white for my bolt pattern.

the rotiform are going to be more rare, but are gonna force me to put out a little more money up front. i also don't know if i can get myself to powder coat them since they're gonna be some higher end wheels. they only come in a machined finish.

    pictures, look at these links:

    18x9.5 Rota Torque - Hyper Black(5x100/e35/73) Wheeldude.com - Professional wheel dealer.
    18x9.5 Rota Torque - White (5x100/e35/73) Wheeldude.com - Professional wheel dealer.
    ?|? Rotiform Wheels ?|?

so, let's hear it. this is where my car is going next year. the tires i'll be running will be a 225/40/18, not sure of which brand. not decided on that yet.

for the record, the wife picked the nue's. she also picked without me saying price or how they'd fit, just based on design.

Rota torques, because I was looking at them

As for tires, look in General GMax AS03s. Pretty affordable tire and they've gotten good reviews. Even though its been like 2 weeks I like them. Quiet by my standards and have been handling all the rain we get here quite fine. I haven't pushed them yet in the corners though that'll wait for AutoX.

i actually think the white is cooler looking than the hyper black. and i also hate black wheels.

the axis super hiro's i had on the car are pending right now, so i will have $500 towards the next set. not that it really matters.

Oh man, tough choice. I love anything rotiform but my love for the cast wheels has gone down a little bit. I think the NUE s look great and I would pick them over the rotas but i only think they look good painted when its just the face painted on their 3 piece wheels. I still say NUE, you're car is too classy not to have a classy set of wheels
