    Ironicly enough we were discussing this very same question when I was snapping the pics. thats when I broke out the protractor, and tape measure to measure overall length/angle from the oil return port on the turbo to the oil level sensor hole. I am using a -8 return line(quite a bit bigger than the -4 feed line)....and the turbo actally sits 1.7" higher than the oil level sensor hole in the pan. this will allow for adequite oil return.

    However....there is that 15% chance I will have a problem. at which point I will have a seperate oil tank that the oil will feed into from the turbo....from there I will have a seprate oil pump to pump it from the container..through an external oil cooler, then back into the oil pan.

    very good eye Trannyman!!! I spent an entire day going over the oilling system......I hope I have all the kinks out of it.

    right now I am worried about my trans......I will be dropping off my spare here within the next month(if all goes according to my dimwitted plan)

    Ok good, glad you thought of that! I am suprised there is that much drop from the turbo to the pan and that you have a backup plan in mind!
