I like that blue man. I wonder if I could make navy blue work on a black gp.......

I like regular blue with black, but if it's too dark it bugs my eyes that I can't tell which is black and which is blue. Go for it man! It's hardly ten bucks.

So I had finally got the oil pan gasket replaced and then 2 days later I noticed the car still leaking. Quite a bit too. I took it back to the shop that did it and they lifted the car and showed me that it wasn't their fault, there's oil above the pan, it must be the rear valve cover.

Cool! Easy fix. My buddy did that gasket when he helped me do the LIM; I didn't check his work so makes sense to me. The mechanic tightened the bolts on the cover and I drive away happy.

Except I keep smelling oil burning like its landing on the exhaust manifold. Well I'll just redo the rear valve cover and maybe that'll fix it, I still have the other gasket from the set I bought last time I did it.

When I went to pull the cover I decided to look at again before I did anything and it was bone dry all the way around. Looked under the car with a coworker that works on his lifted truck every week and we both decided it wasn't the valve cover. And it was odd the way the oil would pool around the oil pan bolts.

Ok lemme take it to the mechanic one more time and tell him it can't be the rear valve cover. He lifts it, shows me again and stands by his work. I say fine, do the valve cover for me. We weren't heated at all and agreed the other had a point, but I wanted him to prove it, I will gladly pay up if you can prove me wrong.

About an hour ago I got a call from the shop. They inspected the valve cover and it IS fine, so they used dye and found the leak coming from the rear main seal. FML http://i.imgur.com/PBjtBLc.gif

They already order the parts and everything should be done tomorrow and they'll even reseal the pan while they're at it. Hopefully by tomorrow night my car will no longer be leaking for the first time in my ownership. UGH
