Just picked up a '99 Z28 last Friday. Took the roughly 15 hour round trip, not including picking the car up and the rest stops along the way. It's a roller car. It came with a 5.3 vortech out of a suburban, but that has got to go, so I'm trying to sell it and hoping to pick up an ls1/t56 after the gp goes. It's a decently low mileage car as well, at about 89,xxx. It definitely is going to take some effort, but I'm really looking forward to getting this on the road. The car also really needs some small cosmetic work and some different aesthetics. The rims really need to go, but we'll see because the tires look practically brand new. The exhaust tips are hideous. Tint is very much a necessity as well. Then on the top of the car, there's a lot of bubbles under the paint, which I'm guessing is from a previous owner painting over the vinyl which could obviously cause some issues with the paint, so I might see how much it would cost to have the paint removed from the top and have fresh vinyl laid down.
