Thanks!
After this morning I might have even more work to do... I hit a small patch of ice and slid sideways over some train tracks before straightening out and going directly into a ditch. Well, partly into the ditch. I got high centered on the snow bank on the side of the road, and only one wheel started to dip into the ditch.
Luckily, in my profession if anyone sees a car on the side of the road with hazards on they'll immediately stop and help. I had 3 pickups stop in the middle of the road to help within 2 minutes of me getting stuck. One had the tow strap, one helped me clear snow out from under the rear bumper to get the strap connected, and the third actually pulled me out.
My car definitely tried to go deeper into the ditch as he was pulling me out, but eventually it cooperated and got back on the road.
I could tell immediately that my alignment is completely fubar'd, and I have a feeling there's a bent lateral arm. On top of the 50 lbs of snow packed into my bumper and probably radiator. But no major damage to anything, and no injuries. Just a lot of annoyance.
No offense, but I'm gonna hold off on hubs for a while, because right now steering and alignment is priority, then leaks, then the rest of the suspension, then the trans, THEN replace the hubs and probably axles as well.
So today has been fun... Lol
