Been a min since I've posted on here. Got a lot done lately and man has it paid off. I've been messing around with DHP (thanks Scott and Booba) And getting my car dialed in well. This thing is turning into a fine tuned machine, Once the fuel trims get in order today I'm going to flash over the timing tables from our 04 GTP which should be a great starting point now that I have HEADERS!! that's right y'all yet another set of Speed Daddy's have made it on just one more GP. (I cant wait for the day my GP stands out differently) Anyways, the headers went in super easy and I was pleasantly surprised I got them done as fast as I did, i followed Billboost37's Header thread for this project and glad as HELL that I did. So enough words and now pics!

    Pile O' Iron
    Aka weight bro

Then the cat back bolts broke

    All taken apart

YAY. I will say that this is by far the most fun yet working on my car, It went really well and for once everything went as planned. I'm one happy camper at this point

And now everything goes back together and I fire it up!

    Heres the underside!

I'm a little concerned about that u bend but so far its been no problem!

Also, I was scrolling on good ol Facebook and all group drama aside I found a nice fella with a Gen V sitting around with a lim attached to it! It'll be here in the next couple days so i'll be doing that soon after. I know I'll need an adapter plate and some other EVAP stuff done.

    But thats the small stuff

    GEN V THO!!

Oh and the headers are getting some cool color going on.

So I got a hold of a 04 factory bin and applied the timing tables to my car and took it out for a drive and man, what a difference! I'm still confused if an 04 tune is the same as an 05? If so then I think the 04 is a good option for me as I only got 2* of kr at WOT starting at 4K rpm. and my LTFTs were quite lean so I think I can remedy this kr with a bit more fuel, and if not, I can take away a * of timing starting at the rpm I get knock. (thanks scotty for that hint)

I just want to take a second to thank everyone on here that has helped me get my car where it is, without ya'll my car would be just another stocker or worse...

Oh! and heres a little video of the day I finished my headers:

And last but not least by any means.... PREGENS!! pics and stuff to come

Been a min since I've posted up on here. I've gotten a few goodies and done much on my car. I finally figured out what was going on with my trans. Somehow my shift points were all the way up to 6700 RPM.... how? I don't have a clue, I certainly didn't do that myself so somewhere along the line I picked up a bad tune copy and paste.

I got my pregens on and they look great! I just need to get them sandblasted and painted.
    PICS:

After that I really haven't done much other than just drive it. and scanning... lots and lots of scanning with small changes... I'm down to 2-3* kr at WOT at the top of 2nd gear.
    any suggestions?

Also, the last few days I've noticed the car has a very rough idle... I just changed the spark plugs and wires. plugs are 605's gaped .50 over

I guess I need to do some checking on that too....

Oh, and I'm still getting part throttle kr with a mixture of being lean. like around 25-35% throttle...

And now for the fun stuff! Thanks to Brandonhall10 for a great deal on this stuff!

    1.9 Rockers and 105# springs!

    And a super nice FWI!

LOL and the super awesome pup I watched over the weekend makes me want one of my own.... meet Chloe!

I'll post up more updates in a while. but for now, Feast your eyes!! lol

Oh, that was no mistake sir. That's how you turn polished aluminum into brushed aluminum. I put it in there in case you wanted to "restore" the finish from time to time. There was a little corrosion on it from the last time I detailed my engine bay.

Mr. Scott: here is my timing chart, Like I say the ONLY time I get kr is when I go over 17.5* of timing.

I would change the bottom 4 rows from like 3200 rpm all the way to 6400 to 14*

those numbers need to be 11's really. thats not the actual timing numbers. 13 is like 18-19ยบ

I am more accustomed to looking at my overkill tune, where the numbers in the good fuel spark table are actually what the timing values are in a wot pull.

    I'll just leave these here....

Everything went fairly smooth, just working out some kinks right now but so far no issues, Im still trying to get used to the noise these rockers make. As far as running issues there arent any, the engine runs nice and smooth and finally doesn't leak any oil. lol

Ill have more details later, I gotta go work out some fuel trim imperfections.

Well Its been a few days since all the work and yesterday it was a nice 75 degrees out and I found a nice empty road and Punched it and held it to the floor until i hit 110mph and a curve that suggested 35mph was coming so that was as far as I got, and still no kr at this point, AND on 05 timing. LTFTs are staying solid at -1.6 @ WOT so I'm pretty happy with that. So my next move is to the infamous pulley drop.

Been driving my car for a while with no kr and pretty much a picture perfect tune. so now that my car has been put to sleep for the winter, I am going to compile a list of next step upgrades. Sense e85 nor 93 is available to me I'm just going to slap on a tree point six and call it good. My dear friend Paintchips is getting a cam, so when hes done I'm going to collaborate with him doing one myself (scary)

I looks like I'm going to make a trip to Gardner Illinois in the summer and thought about ordering a TEP transmission to make it down there, mine has that weird chugging sensation every once in a while. so I will spoil my car with a nice TEP trans My plans for this car aren't wild as I really like them in stock form and love the reliability and peppy attitude.

    My spring time plans:

    Gauges n shizz
    Retros
Suspension nothing in particular (ill spare you the details)
    Sound deadening
    Tree point six
    Cam (maybe)
    Coils
    Wires
    Trans
Oh and i got a new job so I can actually buy all this stuff (warehouse manager)
SD hood and an LE spoiler
And more i cant think of now
