Ok guys I'm having some minor issues with my car and I don't want to tear into it without some advice on what to look for first.

    1. Two vents blow hot air when the rest blow cold. !!!

    2. My steering feels stiff but fluid is fine.

    3. Drive wheels squeal when I turn sometimes. CV shafts are new.

To fix your first problem, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BOdhWMdxXc
-It has the same problem and he was able to fix it.

To help your second problem, has your fluid been changed? Old fluid breaks down and can not perform as well.

To help your third problem, what do the treads look like on your tires? My tires are so bald, every turn I make, they squeal lol.

Tires are brand new man. I appreciate the help though. I'll look into changing the power steering fluid.

the abs light on? if so that will cause super firm steering.

What type of squeal is it? Does it sound like a squeal when you do a burnout (obviously not as loud, but like the tires themselves squeal) or do you think its suspension/steering parts related?

Yeah I'm not sure what would cause that. My only other thought I have is your brake pads. Do you notice yourself hitting the brakes when you turn or does it happen every single time you turn?

It happens occasionally. I don't brake during turns unless I'm over speed, and that's rare in itself. So no not all the time and no brakeing when turning.

I'm out of ideas then lol. Hopefully one of the more experienced members can chime in and offer other suggestions because I can't think of anything else. Good luck!

tire squeal around corners when not even turning hard? check the sway bar end links and if the bar its self is broken.

i drove for a month with no sway bar, car felt like a boat and the tires squealed around every turn.

back to the steering, has the wheel always been this firm? or did you replace the rack? magna steer has 3 settings, one finger easy, firm, and extra firm. default settings is firm. to change it you need a tech 2 scanner.

Honestly I don't know if it was always like that. I bought the car with a blown tranny and just got it running. I'll take a look at the sway bar just as soon as I can. I'm not around it at the moment

you know i kept reading about how the magnasteer gets disabled and makes the wheel stiff , but when my abs and traction control were out ,i didn't really notice a difference.

can you turn the wheel parked with one finger, like butter, aka a caddy? if not your on the firmest setting already, theres very little difference between abs light on, and the firm setting.

need a tech 2 scanner to change it. or hit the dealer ship.

mine used to turn like butter, new rack and its on firm now. whats nice is it only turns easy when going slow, then it firms up at speed.
