    cooler t stat is old school modding, its not even relevant in a 3800 where the pcm runs the engine. all GM cars want to run @ 210 degrees.

    that being said lol my fans are lowered to 180, and im running a 195 t stat still. car runs around 200 or so tops in traffic, lower on the highway of course.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

    Cool ... How does one lower the fans???

    you need a tuner program to change it in the pcm. where in NJ are ya? i got a tuner. im up in hackensack.

    I'm in Hillsborough... So a decent trip south of you, but I do occasionally get up around Saddle River to fish. So if I know I am going, I will try to get hold of you before and see if you're around.
