Not to rain on your parade here but you can't really mod a 2008 base grand prix.

If you are thinking major power adder, you will not be able too. Like a supercharger or turbo, you can not tune the PCM for those mods. 2008 has a year only PCM do to the new can bus system they started running, then in 2009 pontiac was dropped and so did the grand prix and any chance at any company making software for tuning.

You can do interior and exterior mods but motor mods will be limited to a intake, power log, rockers. Doing any other exhaust work like headers or a downpipe can lead to bigger issues with codes for o2 sensors and you won't be able to fix them.
