    My guess is its not all the way on, hence the belt is slipping off

    Wasn't there a guy here who had the same problem like 2 weeks ago? OP search around I'm pretty sure there was
    Comp G. E85, 2.8, Headers, Tune, Intake, S1X, 105# springs, 60 # injectors, 255 walbro,etc.

    If you put it back on without the woodruff key the HB could spin on the crank. Did you make sure they key was on the crank and the balancer lined up? There are some negative consequences if the balancer was force on with the key still there, I have personally seen it break the lower timing gear in half and you get nasty misfires and the car does not want to run.

    Just a little FYI, I went to pull a balancer and had the 1/4-28 bolts but the holes were not tapped. Ended up tapping them in order to use the proper puller. I didn't use the cone as stated before I just put the bolt back in and pushed against it and backed it out as needed.

    doesnt solve your problem but thought it might be helpful to someone down the road. I think the guys are right and you may have knocked the woodruff key out so its not timed properly.
