New guy here, I'm the owner of an 05 impala Ls. I've joined here for obvious reasons. I have found this forum so helpful in knowledge on this platform . I have spent the last few weeks browsing old pages and getting some hints and tips for future mods.

From newfoundland, Canada. 21 year old mechanic with a love for cars and especially impalas. I've owned one 97 gtp sedan a few years ago and it was the cats assss! Even though these are front wheel drive.

I've just "finished" a m90ss swap. And have a few more plans in mind for the winter. But just after having a newborn, and buying a house leaves me with little time to play! But I like to stay up late and gain some knowledge and get the old tinker moving!

I stole the idea from zzp, and modded my own intake, not the best. But the whole goal was to do it on my own and not have to source so many parts from vendors

Nope. Drilled and tapped for these funny plugs I bought at a hardware store. And cut the injector bungs off an injector rail and pressed them In the plugs . I can get more pics. There just the few I had on my phone

Sadly it is. I needed something to kinda mild around them to cover up the look. And to seal any little pinholes that could be there. I figured it would be fine. But over time I'm going to clean everything up and tidy all the imperfections. I'll try to get some more pictures up soon. I have it running, I just didn't drive it on the stock PCM. I just received my PCM back from zzp today. I'll put it in tomorrow and take it for a run.

Ill post a fully detailed build once I get some time. I have a double gauge pod to mold to the front windshield panel, lowering, polished wheels, I have a front lip that's cracked that I'm going to plastic weld back together. The spring will bring some paint work. I used to work in bodywork and I do find it an interesting hobby so I have a few plans for that aswell!

I need a set of gtp injectors and I'd like to get my hands on a wideband. But the car is parked in the garage till spring so I have lots of time . I have plans to make a 3" down pipe. But that's far on my list. My goal isn't an all out street machine, but I would like to have a few horses on my foot for fun. I have a double din nav unit from a gtp that would be nice to put in. And a full led interior swap. Cluster, climate. Etc.

I have some gtp injectors for sale if you want them! haha. Also very impressive how you did that custom yourself, I love seeing projects that people do without off the shelf parts!
