So I've been getting this code coming up nonstop the past two weeks and I'm sick and tired of clearing it everytime for my remote start to work.. I've changed solenoids and vacuum lines and it still pops up. The linkage and everything moves just fine and I've even sprayed it down with wd-40 to make sure.. Is there a way to get rid of it or bypass it so the light won't come on?

double check the plug and its wires to the solenoid. look for missing or cracked insulation. the pig tail could be bad.

I'll double check the wires.. Thanks.. But there isn't really a way to just bypass it without the code coming up is there?

not that i know of. you can remove the solenoid but id think there would be another code then, and the only way to make it go away for ever is to tune it out with a tuner.

Alrighty then. If I don't figure it out by the end of this month I'll just have it tuned out. Is getting a tuner worth it actually?

P0033 supercharger bypass valve solenoid control circuit.

DTC sets when PCM detects improper voltage level on Boost Control Solenoid Control circuit for more then 20 sec. Check fuse for voltage circuit of BCS. Check BCS control circuit for open, high resistance, short to voltage or ground. If circuits OK, suspect failure in BCS or PCM.

that's what my scanner says, gl
