Been lurking here for so long that I guess I never noticed I'd never created an account, lol.
Summary: Bought my 04 GP in 06, been trying my best to kill it since. To make up for my horrid car stewardship, I try to do little things here and there when time/funds allow.
Within the next month or so, hope to be getting a headlight retrofit from Classy (balance of time/cost works better having it done than doing it in this case, I'm an avid DIY person, and this will be the first thing I've had someone else do). I have been searching using every keyword combination I can think of, and found many enlightening discussions on several related topics, but have only one question I just cannot seem to find an answer to.
Not sure if it hasn't been asked, or I just missed an answer somewhere on the internet, and the wiring diagrams I've found have been... unhelpful, so my lack of knowledge may be hurting me here.
On an 04 Grand Prix, with the turn-signal/DRL/foglight combo, is it possible to run the DRL and turn signals separately?
If so, is there a piece of information detailing this that I am just not seeing?
Edit: Nevermind, lol. My brother in law asked Classy, and apparently they come wired this way from him, so I guess I'll just look at what he did and figure it out from there.
Intent: I would like to run halos as DRL, and keep turning signal separate, but it doesn't seem to be possible from what non-information I've found. I have found a bunch of stuff on converting later models to use the turn signals as DRL, but nothing to do the opposite. Any advice/directions would be helpful.
Oh, and I guess it's good to join the forums I've been lurking for years to find info on things for my car, lol.
