I'd say no, but what I or anyone else thinks is not what matters. If you want it, buy it.

Yes thanks. I'm worried I'll be paying more since it will be a loan.

Is the book value even close to what they asking??

I'd for sure get it inspected and drive the **** outta it if you think about getting one. They are known for loose front end parts like ball joints and tie rod ends. Some dealers just clean them up and toss em up for sale without fixing what could be wrong with the car.

And if you take out a loan, you will always be paying more in the end. If walked out the door paying $9,000 with a loan, expect to in it for maybe up $10,000 when it's all said and done with. I don't know exact numbers there though, loan amounts and interest rates and how many months can vary so much.

Yeah and I need insurance. Idk about the book value. I went to truecar.com but the Pontiac make is not an option. Idk where else to search. I've seen G6's for the same price with less miles. Thx

IMHO G6s are not worth even close what people ask for them. Just think of how much quality the Grand AMs had the G6 is about the same. They just made the cheep parts look fancy is all.

Honestly that is not worth it at all. The G6's are junk to be honest... We have one and the rear tail lights stopped working at times due to the brake switch/relay. Id try looking for a newer Grand Prix if i was you. Would be cheaper and would last wayy longer probably. AND youd have us to help you fix it

Will a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix supercharged gtp be able to drive from MI to California and drive back? The dealer tried to tell me Grand Prixs are not meant for long distance drives.
And thanks for the inputs!! I'm not buying it!

Never go to that BS dealer again and use some common sense. Any mass produced car (excluding an electric car) in good condition should be able to drive across the US without any issue.

Try to learn things on your own otherwise you'll get scammed over and over.

When I drove for Enterprise, I drove a lot of them. Best compliment I could pay them is that they're better than the Kia fortes I made my coworkers drive.

dealer salesmen will say anything to make a sale. if your car is reliable as is, it will make a 3000 mile drive easy. i got 231,000 on mine, id take it for that drive no problem.

your car works less at highway speed too. much easier on the car then local stop and go driving.

Sister had a g6 for awhile.. I drove in for a few months when it wasn't a bad car at all. Besides the door actuators having problems it ran and drive fine. Pretty decent power and pretty good mpg no complaints here beside it being a chicks car.

$6k is pushing it, maybe if it's a GXP.

    I'd give them $5

You can find a ton of cars for the $6k~ range.

I was going to point out that SF Cali prices are probably higher than east coast for the same car, but now he's changed his location to MI so I don't know is going on.

9k for a G6 with 108k in MI is ****ing stupid.
