$6k is pushing it, maybe if it's a GXP.

    I'd give them $5

You can find a ton of cars for the $6k~ range.

I was going to point out that SF Cali prices are probably higher than east coast for the same car, but now he's changed his location to MI so I don't know is going on.

9k for a G6 with 108k in MI is ****ing stupid.

I can tell you that price is high. That's not far from what we bought my wife's 07 G6 for with 27k on it, almost 5 years ago. With 108k on it, I'd expect it to be in the $4k-6k range, depending on condition, options and dealer/private party. If you are insistent on paying $9k for a G6, I'll consider selling you my Wife's car with 88k on it for that.

Some things of note with them:

2.4L motor - Good on gas, not so much on the power. 30 mpg regularly
3.5L motor - Probably the best motor. 24c-30h mpg in this. This is what we have. Coolant gasket likes to go on them, but easy fix and $30 in parts.
3.6L motor - Terrible gas mileage. Had it in my aura. Averaged 18c-24h mpg with it. Lots of power though. Their transmissions have the 3-5-R Wave Plate issue with is costly if out of warranty (ask me how I know)
3.9L motor - terrible gas mileage as well. I believe these have coolant issues like the 3.5L

The BCM/Brake light issues mentioned above is a recall now and getting fixed.
They are fairly easy to work on. I've done a lot of work to ours.

Overall, I would recommend a 3.5L one as a DD if that's what you are looking for.
