Just wanted to say hey from here in Central Indiana!
Picked up a 1998 GTP coupe over the summer off a good friend for my girl friend after her Grand Am had an unfortunate run in with a tree branch. 201K on it when we took over, but well maintained. It just needed some TLC and he had moved on after 10 years of ownership so he let me steal it from him.
A little about me, 33 years old. Been wrenching with my old man since before I talk. Spent a lot of time in a Body Shop growing up since that's what Pop does. Figured I would end up doing body work all through school but ended up in collage pursuing a degree in Electronic Engineering (had no idea what I was doing, still not sure I do). Fortunately I was able to land a career in the Automotive Industry. Been working there for the past 13 years. Spend a lot of time on 2 Wheels with my good friends and time at the camper with my Pop and Stepmom in the summer.
Do all my own maintenance on everything I have ever owned. Seems the couple times I have paid for work, I end up going back over it.
Looking forward to reading all the info there is out on the board and hope to work through a couple issues I have as well.
