I have a 2008 grand prix 3.8 6 cyl. . Recently just had to change the power steering pump, after that was done started her up & now she seems to be running on only 3 cylinders/really rich.. anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this? Any feedback is appreciated, thanks!

Did you hurt that wire and it's connector that was hooked to the back of the PS pump? It goes to the knock sensor. That could cause a few issues for sure.

I know he said something about a wire connected to the pump that needed to kind of be pulled off but I thought he said something about it being part of an o2 sensor which both he replaced. I will have to ask him to check that knock sensor & whatnot when he gets back home. Just wanted to see if I could try to help figure out some possible issues to throw his way because we've had so many problems with it the past few months he's exhausted & ready to set the POS on fire & roll it down a hill. THANKS!

A good question to ask is.. which three cylinder is it running on? Which are the issues... if the issue is 2, 4, and 6. then they share two things in common. A fuel injector power wire and the rear knock sensor. Since the ps pump was just done and the knock wire for the rear bank is hooked to it. (Most find out the hard way). It makes sense.
