Hi; my name is April Thompson, and I just bought my '04 GT1 on Saturday. Let me tell you, already this is the first used car that's making me weep with JOY! First of all, it's a super-clean motor, with very little interior wear, and no rust whatsoever With an 11-year-old vehicle... who knew? Certainly my previous van-a 2000 Chrysler Town & Country-was a rust bucket. And then there's the plug & play harness... I've already found the pigtails for the seat heaters and the compass, so as soon as I get my hand on them, I'm tossing in the heated leather seats (with the proper HVAC module, of course), the 5-button DIC, and the compass. As long as the plug & play holds up for everything, I'll inevitably add the heads-up display! Can't wait to get started having fun with this car!

there should be a how to on installing the hud, and if not someone has done one recently. I love my heads up display. my mother in law has a chrysler town and country. its a nice car and rides smooth, but has issues more often than I would have patience for.

the pastor at my church has a Town and Country he bought new off the lot. He got it back when Chrysler was offering the lifetime power train warranty. Just as well, cause he's on his 6th transmission in as many years. IIRC he has about 110k on the van by now.

I hear bad things about those 62TE transaxles in the Gen 5 Mopars, though my brother's gearbox is doing fine in his Dodge; his clock spring's toast though (shorts and confuses the stability control system; it'll cost < $500 to sort out)!

LOL! That is the case here too! My van had the bun warmers, and I can't wait to add that to the GP!
