yep common problem, tranny needs to be pulled apart. I had the same issue, I used one of the trannyfix remedies you can find at walmart and it has temporarily cured my problem. Who knows how long it will last.

These transmissions must be junk. I just got rid of a lesabre that has the same engine /transmission and it was doing the same exact thing. Is it a shift solenoid or a pressure control solenoid, or a completely different part?
