I just picked up a 06 Grand Prix today ... I've had 2 04 gps in the past but this new one is confusing...
    It's a 06 3800 n/a ...I got dual exhaust, chrome fat 5 spokes , factory remote start , moon, monsoon,

my question is that I don't have traction control button or abs ... I looked for the abs module with no luck.. Pulled the wheels off and no wires at any wheel for sensors

the console is just molded with no button

has any one else ever seen this???????

if its got abs the wire to the sensor runs on top of the lower control arm to the back side of the hub, sensor is in the hub.

it is possible it dont have abs. one way to find out is to find a dirt road, or gravel road and just nail the brakes, if they lock up, you dont have abs.

if the pedal pulses and pushes back at your foot and the wheels dont lock up, its got abs.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

I have the same thing with my 06. ABS is not standard. It's an option. I personally don't care or need ABS. I like having manual control over my brakes. Traction control is built in with the ABS.

After like 05, everything was an option.

Tons of base model cars would come with factory leather, heated seats, dual climate control, 5 button DIC, better rims and dual exhaust but then not have ABS.
