Tested it with starting fluid . It blips to 2k rpm then just continues to crank . Pump is dead huh ? I haven't tried switching the lines, they are significantly different so I just guessed that I did it right .

Someone told me it could be the mass air flow sensor
Unplug the MAF and see if it starts, that would give you an answer if it was.

Okay I'm a dummy . It wasnt spraying gas it was spraying air from the schrader valve *facepalm*
I think my pump assembly is in wrong
Does anyone have a solution to the pump just pumping air?
Might have got the lines wrong but i dont know anything about how our fuel systems work.

When I tried to switch the lines, it was difficult to even move them around, also one line is bigger than the other one (exclude the vent) . The "F" fitting is smaller (im guessing it stands for feed) and the "R" (return?) is bigger . I put the big line on R and the small line on F
How much gas did you put in the car? Or is in the car

This blue piece doesn't fit well around the pump . Though it did on the old one . I don't think it's created a good seal

Here's the old one, i cant even hold the new one upright without the blue piece falling off
There should be a filterlike sock thing on the bottom of the pump and the bottom of the canister both.
I think you are sucking air because there isn't enough fuel in the tank. Dump 10 gallons in and let us know.
Both strainers are in . Now im having a hard time getting it back on . Whenever I have one part of the snap ring on, it seems like the other sides raise and are impossible to push down . This is so frustrating . I have to hold the pump down, put the ring on and hold the light at the same time
Got it back in
Still nothing . I'll fill it up and then see what happens
Seems like it should pick up with a gallon or I know cause I ran out of gas in my yard and put a gallon in and I drove it to the gas station
I know the lines aren't crossable, fat on fat,odd one in the middle, then smaller on end
check fuel pressure yet???
He said it was spraying air out, thought it was gas
