I purchased the 3.4 pulley and I noticed people mentioning having a special tool. Do I need this tool or will like a 3 jaw puller work the same? Also people are mentioning putting a 180 thermostat and cold air intake in as well. Just need opinions on what others have done, if needed, and why I need them. thanks sorry for noobish question.

    Enjoy.

All your questions are answered in there.

Do not use a regular puller. It'll destroy the snout.

also if you read thru that thread you will find you need to have a good bit of mods to safely run the 3.4" pulley.

you need flow mod for that pulley and the special puller like stated.

you need headers, or at least a 3 inch down pipe, a plog front manifold would also help, but sd headers are cheaper then that plog dp combo.

then cooler spark plugs, and a way to scan for kr or you'll kill your engine.

3 jaw bends pulleys, it doesn't remove them.
