First car was my 2002 grand prix se with the lg8 in galaxy silver. Ive had it for around 2 and a half years and loved every bit of it. Always looked through this site for advice and write up information. Finally decided to make me an account. Looking to upgrade to the 3800 here soon, any good advice when looking at used one private party? Looking for a coupe car, gt or gtp doesn't matter to me.

Since you're in the south, rust won't be as big a concern as it is for the northerners...best bet is to find one that hasn't been molested and has been properly maintained. Otherwise...it's a 3800 and they hold together well.

Found me a rust free, well taken care of (service records), unmolested, bright red 1998 2 door gt for a great price. It has cloth seats, no onstar, and no sunroof. Just the way I like it. Rides and drives great and has so much more pickup than my 3100 car. Very happy with my purchase and have no regrets. Now time for some basic mods!

Will do my friend, I think im going to like it here. Just as a further intro, im currently enrolled in my third semester of automotive technician training. I have a passion for cars that I will one day stomp down by trying to make a career out of it. haha. It gets me unlimited vip rights to all the tools I can dream of and 6 brand new car lifts, along with an associates degree. Life is pretty good.
