thanks for all the warm welcomes everyone! ive been so busy i havent had time to reply, so here they are

RareGMFan: you are right about the quad being ahead of its time with the power output, but it was also, in my opinion, ahead of its time in labor costs and cost to maintain vs other engines of that time. also not to mention how picky those engines are towards everything. sure you will get those few that just seems to run forever though. in my experience with the quad 4 and 2.4 tc alike, those engines require the utmost maintenance upkeep , which most people driving cars dont believe in. so you go to a junk yard and youll find many quad4/2.4 with 100k miles or less blown up. at least up here you do.

4THGENCAMAROFAN: thank you for posting that link, for some reason i couldnt find it anywhere. maybe i looked in the wrong place though. as for the buzzing that goes on in the morning, it does sound like the ABS gears now that i listened to it, so i will stop worrying about that now lol. also that factory nav with the DVD, i will totally pass on it, OnStar give me nav through the speakers, but only for that free trial period that i get, which i havent activated yet and will save for a rainy day when TOM TOM says she quits.

Below Average Joe: greetings, but im actually not to fond of the place im living right now. i have yet to find a place in ohio thats "enjoyable" to live in.

sjw515: ill let you leave a pic of that to imagination hahaha, its got a bit of extra baby phat to trim off lol

BillBoost37: the water pump on the quad 4 is not bad at all, just line up a spline shaft and you are good to go! its the 2.4 that you have to worry about... that one is a nightmare. at least timing it is easy, they give you the bolts that are perfect size to sneak though those holes in the cam gears with the IDI cover. How convenient. i havent had the "luxury" of doing one on a quad 4, but have done quite a few on the 2.4, that damn tensioner is what gets me, sometimes i cant hear or feel if that damn thing clicked once or twice like its supposed to. if i were to be honest with myself, i think working on things like this made me leave automotive and join the aerospace industry. well, i think maybe flat rate pay was more to blame.

Oh, i forgot to add to my first post, i never added an engine picture, or a picture of that "lazy eye" fog light so here they are:

Very Stock and Unimpressive

As you can see the passenger side is perfect, but the driver side is, for lack of better term, completely "derp-y" or "down and out" literally. If anyone can point me in the direction to fixing that, it would be more than greatly appreciated.

Thanks
