My car been randomly jerky when I start the car like the engine wants to stall out (it made my eng temp rise fast). I also put in $20 worth of gas the same day this problem started and the gas was gone in 2 days I did not even drive 20 miles. I check the codes and only got
was P0134 and p0134 pending aka O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected Sensor 1 Bank 1. I think the code reader said misfire too, but that could been wrong button I hit. could a miss fire do that? Anyways...

Auto zone talked me into getting sefoam and the eng was still hot 160F before I added it, I added 1½ fl oz per Pt of oil (5pt of oil) which is 7.5 fl oz which I added to the crank shaft as the bottle said to do, then I added 1/3 bottle to the gas tank and I did not do the vac line, because I do not have someone to rev the eng well I pour in the seafoam slowly. After I started the car and rev the eng to 2-3k rpm for a good minute and got no white smoke coming out the tail pipe, I did this for good min before my eng got up to 210F. Then I test drove my car and runs smoother and the eng temp no longer goes up and down as I drive stays stable. The engine running quieter and smoother, but smoke never came out the tail pipes! What did I do wrong? My car stop trying to stall as well. I'm not sure if I even did it right!

go change your oil RIGHT F ING NOW!

SEA FOAM IN THE OIL IS SO BAD. it can cause a rod knock.

you dont need a second person to do a vac line. pop the brake booster hose off the brake booster with the car running, pinch the hose so it runs, then pour the sea foam in the hose end, it will suck it in. when your out of seafoam shut it off, wait 20 minutes then fire it up.

it gets better, sound like you did a lot of the catching up work the last owners failed to do.

i feel your pain, i paid 800 for mine and dumped a good 2500 into it by now. i knew it need a lot of work going in tho.

I spent every dime I had on this car this week trying to fix it, can't afford an oil change untill next paycheck which is not this Tuesday, but next. If I do anther oil change, do I have to do that damn oil filter too? its a pain in the ass to change, because of the awkward angle you got to put the filter ranch to get it out! I got to drive a week with this oil :/ will I be safe?

This car barley ran when I bought it, runs like a dream compare to before. got it for only 2k 132k miles. 2001 GT

if you read the seafoam bottle pretty sure it says to not run it in the oil for more then 200 miles.

id borrow 20 bucks and dump the oil, if the filter was just changed leave it, its 1/2 a quart of oil left over no big deal.

    It say on the can
"When added to crankcase (oil) Helps:
Quiet noisy lifters and clean dirty parts due to deposit build-up.
One pint treats 10 quarts of oil (use 1½ oz,per qt) For use in all motor oils including synthetic. Can be used before or after oil change. When oil becomes dirty , change oil."

borrowed too much money this week lol. Got to take the risk lol :/

I'd never put sea foam in the oil.
You can lose an engine quick due to that stuff...

Maybe....maybe not. Depends on how far you drive every week and mostly just on luck. I'd borrow the money if at all possible to change it. You can get a 5 quart jug of dino oil from walmart for 12 bucks or less

If you ever do wanna put something inside of the engine to clean it run tranny fluid in it for 100 miles or so before you change the oil.

    This. You should be fine.
Also you didn't get any smoke out the exhaust because you didn't put any in the brake booster.

Seafoam is a cleaner, you have an O2 code. Let's address the fact that your pcm is dumping fuel which will screw your cat in quick time if you don't fix the problem at hand. And this problem... won't be fixed with seafoam.

Why is the O2 not working? Check for voltage at the connection, if it's there.. check that the wire didn't get burned or something and then get that new sensor in there.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I dumped seafoam in my truck oil let it run for literally 5 min I could see the oil pressure dropping cause it was thinning out I shut off the truck. Changed the oil cause that was the plan anyway. The oil came out like water

You should only out like 1/2 the can at most in the oil.
