Ok so I want to get an aftermarket radio http://www.carid.com/universal-stere...-16077661.html but i live in New Orleans where there are a lot of grand prixs and a lot of theifs so i ran across this video on how a guy turned his factory radio into a face plate for his new radio http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rl6DSUgmHw i was wondering if anyone has ever tried this

Seems like a cool idea but let's be honest... Tint your windows, don't show off and have a alarm.. This will usually avoid things like this from happening if not there's double din that have removable faceplates.
