Hi. Just purchased my 2002 GTP about 2 weeks ago and hve changed the blower motor, blower motor resistor(fun play under the dash upside down) now am going to do the t-stat as temp gauge is reading low(72c-80c) previous owner says it will change in hot weather in traffic. Does this sound like a t-stat?

    Thanks for any info

Sounds like the thermostat. Since you don't know the last time it has been done, I would do a coolant flush as well. Dex-cool can and will gunk up if it isn't changed regularly.

Thanks for the reply. Just gonna wait for a warm day as it shat snow on us last night. Gotta silicone under the plastic piece under the wipers as well as I read that's where the water leaks into the blower motor and the resistor there. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Just buy the plastic piece design to stop the leak was 5$ from the dealer and installs in 10min. I'll search for the thread and link it

    Sweet! Even easier. Thanks man

Forgot to mention, cheaper too. Paid $13 for the silicone I was going to use. Guess I'll just return that and get the plastic piece
