well maybe not a gtp, but i easily got the se beat...

and my car was available with everything that the gps had, ccept maybe trac and the passenger air bag.... they had heated leather power seats, power fold heated side mirrors, keyless entry, bose sound system, auto climate control, air refiner, rear a/c, hight adjustable front seat belts, anti lock brakes (88+), tilt sunroof, power rear antenna, computer controlled s-matic auto trans, 5-spd :P, more storage compartments than a post office (glove box, one on the top of the dash, center console, one under the radio one in each rear door counting the ashtrays, one in the knee bolster by the steering wheel, one in the rear self), trip computer with information center, then the second gens had built in phones, memory seats, VIS intake, navigation systems, memory seats, 6spd trans... and keep in mind, the second gen was in 91....

anyway they are two totally different cars, my acura is a luxury sports sedan, and the grand prixs are either family cars, or road rockets, depending on your model... so basically its comparing apples to kiwi.... oh and my car was 19k new

keeping in mind that an SE is a base model POS with an even worse engine. no sense for that car to even exist. im not a fan of the 3100 or 3400 engines. my lady has a grand am gt that is pretty fast that has a 3400 H.O. and she eats rice all day.

hell my sunfire GT 2.4 quad with a 5 speed smoked rice all the time, its name was "V-TEC THIS" and it would smoke everything but a pumped s2000

GTP's in my opinion are luxury sports cars in either coupe or sedan. for the family guy or the single guy both bodies were well designed. i personally enjoy the 4 door more than the coupe, mainly so when i have people in the back they can use they're own doors to get out, also its a great sleeper cops hardly look at.

    enjoy your stay!

well idk about how much they look at them, but in Lenexa, Ks they use three SEs for police cars... there is one gray 97-00 with no options, and two 01-03, one blue and one white i think... they both have spoilers and the GT bumpers as the 01-03 had... i think they are all 3100, none had a 3800 badge on them. and they are fitted with lights in the grille, fogs, turn signals, tail lights, and a small one in the front and rear windows... along with the couple plain chargers they have, and all the cops in these cars wear plain cloths, its hard to get away with stuff around there...

ah, probably undercovers, i remember in sac they had early 90's mustang 5.0's as undercovers, as well as a few caprices with the LT1's. and of course the crown vic. these days though, they have everything from durangos, tahoes, hemi chargers, i tell you its beginning to remind me of that need for speed game
