you can do headers yourself man, with simple handtools, and some common sense. Take your time you can do it yourself.

For the price of the Plog+DP, you can buy a nice set of SD headers (which are what most guys here use).
If you plan on doing more modding, say drop a pulley, and all that whatnot. you would be stupid not to just save, and get headers. Your call tho.
