por will slow down rust, but a cutting wheel and welder will do better in the long run.
looking at a car and saying it looks set up well means jack sh it. (especially with the inter cooler in place of the bumper support, that needs to be fixed) the pcm needs to be scanned for KR, to much boost not the right timing and the pistons chip around the edges and your out a engine.
that areo force gauge reads KR, find the manual on line and learn how to use it. it will tell you your timing, KR, trans temps, fuel trims and so on. also reads check engine codes and clears them. its a great tool to have. use it.
