    I have a 99 gtp with all new performace drop in struts will they work with the newer body style? i want to upgrade to a 04+. Also will the speed daddy headers work with a 04+ gtp??

    Sort of.


    The 97-03 GP and 06-08 endlinks connect from the control arm to the swaybar

    Majority of the 04-05 the endlinks connect from the strut to the sway bar.

    So you would have to use a set of control arms from the 97-03 or 06-08 to use 97-03 struts. Also you would need the sway bar and endlinks.

    Control arms are like $100 a pair from Rockauto so it's not expensive to convert.

    Moogs are ~$67 for the 97-03 style.

    thanks so the headers will work, so what if i bought a 06 gtp? i could jus drop the struts in so to speak like i did in my 99?

    *and i am not a rockauto fan. i ordered a part and it was pathedically cheap and a waste of my money.

    It would double check the suspension fir stand have it look at the strut/control arm area just to be sure because there was a few 06s guys they still had the 04-05 style susp.

    It's a Dorman or Moog part depending on which one you get but many of is have went that route and parts are on level with OEM

    Stick with brands you know when buying parts off Rockauto, stay away from the no name stuff.
    Moog makes good suspension parts, I'm pretty sure they use moog in Nascar.

    i prolly got a cheap one and didnt notice it then. idk will have to look and see. And dsmuts thanks for the info. The only thing i am doing to my car is throwing some 17's on it lol. I want to buy the newer gen of the gtp's and my other if i cant take the parts off and put them on the new one i will part it out.
