Hey everyone Kevin here with a 2001 gt non supercharged with 209,000 I'm having a issue with what seems to be a trans problem. When I'm doing highway speeds the tach stays at 3000rpm I believe I should be running at around 18-2100 rpm also while accellerating the rpm seems to jump which makes me feel like its a bad coil or injector problem

sounds like you lost over drive.
with all them miles, when was your last tuneup? that could cause it to misfire. is the check engine light on? or does it flash?

Check engine light is on for a map sensor which was that when when I got car. Haven't hooked scan tool to it since issue really became noticeable. I first noticed the rpm spikes up and down under load up hill which makes me think bad coil. I think I might have two separate issues. Possible bad coil and no od
