Just realized I should've posted here for my first post, oops. Anyways, I am an owner of a 2001 Grand Prix GT with 176k miles on it. My goal is to hit 200k but the car is starting to have a mind of its own.

1.) check engine light does not come on, need to get this fixed soon before I take it in for emissions test
2.) Tachometer occasionally drops to 0 and stalls engine (did have the CPS code) so I need to replace that
3.) MAF sensor code also came up, got that taken care of and the car runs much better with the exception of the occasional stall

Trying to figure out my options for fixing the CEL to get it to turn on

Well the cig lighter fuse is ok. I guess I'm taking apart the dash this weekend to check the bulb.

Didn't get around to it over the weekend. Any tips on removing the dash and accessing the CEL bulb? Gonna try to do it this weekend.

How do I find out what bulb I need for this? I would like to have one before I take apart the dash.
